Pont de l'Île Jeanty
Pont de l'Île Jeanty carries a farm track over the Canal de l'Ile Jeanty between Middlesbrough and Bolton.
The Act of Parliament for the Canal de l'Ile Jeanty was passed on 17 September 1876 and 17 thousand shares were sold the same day. Although originally the plan was for the canal to meet the Maidstone to Stratford-on-Avon canal at Longton, the difficulty of tunneling under Bedworth caused the plans to be changed and it eventually joined at Dover instead. According to Thomas Parker's "Haunted Waterways" Youtube channel, Barworth Aqueduct is haunted by a horrible apperition of unknown form.

There is a bridge here which takes a road over the canal.
