We've got an error being thrown in to the background processor log so I've raised it as a bug

Canalplan Site issues / Misplaced place
Last post by Shultzy - Jan 26, 2026, 02:00 PM
My screen shows the marker for [Pitstone Wharf] in a different place to the canal line. Also a bridge symbol is shown but the place information shows no bridge selected. I've regenerated the database but no change. Do I need to post it as a bug?

Don't forget the RSS feed only contains changes for the past few days - if you need to keep a longer history then you'll need to set a specific retention period on your RSS reader

OK so basically nothing has been going on and the Data Changes page had stalled as it should age out.

It's even odder.

Changes page on the Website shows nothing between 1-11 and 11-12
rss feed XML shows nothing after 01 Nov 2025

My thunderbird feed shows 19 changes from 6-12 onwards, That runs off the Feedburner feed.

i've mentioned it to nick

Oh - the main RSS feed

It's odd - the RSS feed Im seeing in Thunderbird is up to date

I suspect Feedburner is doing some odd things - it might need Nick to kick it
