Title: Waterway dimensions
Post by: Len on May 28, 2019, 01:52 PM
In the \"Waterway Dimensions\" tab on the \"How you can help CanalPlanAC\" page, I see that there are no dimensions for the Canal Lateral a la Loire and associated sub-canals. I will be there next week - how does one find this information on site? I would have thought that it was widely available in published documents. I'll be happy to do it if I know where to look.
Also no navigation authority listed, so it looks like I will have to add \"Voies navigables de France\" in a \"major edit\" to the drop-down list? (Which sounds a little intimidating).
Thanks.
Len

Second question first - it shouldn't be too intimidating.  \"Major\" really means \"not part of something that already exists\" rather than actually very important!  So while you need to do that it's really quite easy if you have the details handy.  I suggest not checking \"canalplan can email\" as I'm not entirely convinced by that feature.

On the first, I think you know more about the French waterways than I do - isn't it in guide books or similar?

Great. I'll get on it.
