- CanalPlanAC Logo — Hovering the mouse over the
CanalPlanAC Logo will show the current version and date is was
implemented eg. CanalPlanAC version 9.22.12.1 built at 09:32:26 on
May 4 2014.
- Login / Create an account —
Although it is not necessary to create an account (its free) or
login, access to some areas will be restricted.
- Introduction — A brief introduction to CanalPlanAC and
its cookie policy.
- Moon Phases — Displays the current date and the state of
the moon.
- Historical Facts — The collection of
historical facts from which the fact is chosen, and also appears in
itineraries.
- Recent Discussions — shows a list of places which have
discussions attached.
- Paypal — Allows donation support for CanalPlanAC.
- Quick search — Allows searching of the site by Place,
Postal code, OS Grid, CanalPlanAC 4 character code or waterway.
- Quote of the Day— A collection of
waterway related quotations from which the quotation-of-the-day is
chosen.
- Google search — Creates an new window / tab with the
results of the search.
- Google + — Link to Google Plus.
- Statistics — This listing shows the total contents of
the database.
- Visitors — An external site (Flag Counter) which shows
the number of visitors to the site by country. Clicking on the text
will bring up a window in place of the CanalPlanAC window and
requires the back button to return to CanalPlanAC.
- Picture of the Day — A randomly generated photograph.
Click on the photo to see the gazetteer entry. A small thumbnail
shows recently added photographs, move mouse over for details, click
to view.
- Currently logged on — The number of users currently
logged on. Click on [Show them] to expand the list. Clicking on a
user will show all photos submitted by that user. Messages to this
user can be sent from this page.
