Coming into Preston Marina through the sea lock, on a falling tide.

If the tide height is not high enough to get all the boats crossing the Ribble, into Savick Brook, you may, like us, be lucky enough to be diverted into the marina, where the management were very helpful and didn't charge us for our enforced overnight stay. There's a big Morrison's nearby if you need to shop, as well as a choice of eating/drinking.
