Looking upriver from the island

Gates and navigation channel are (were) to the left of this image: weir stream is (was) to the right. After opening of the Leeds Flood Alleviation scheme in 2017, the navigation channel became to the right and the channel through the gates was blocked by a new low-level bridge.
